Background

In 2nd generation the Gutmann family is active in the international timber trade and the wood industry. Therefore we have a very strong and emotional connection to the "wood world".

The current company owner - JAN GUTMANN - started to focus on the wood industry already during his time in school. This is the basis for his large international network, from which you can benefit as well.

The following qualifications are the foundation of the daily bussiness:

• lumber wholesale, distribution, and import companies
  
• various companies of the wood processing industry (planing mills)
• timber agency and broker company
  
• an international oparating Company of the packaging industry (Signode)
• Diplom Betriebswirt (Berufsakademie Mosbach: Fachrichtung Handel mit Schwerpunkt Holzhandel)
• qualified NHLA-Grader (North american Hardwood Lumber Association: Inspection Training School)
• practical trainings in several trading and prodction companies in Canada, Norway, and Sweden
• successfull participation in several trainings and workshops for:
  
• communication
• presentation
• improvment of customer relation
• marketing
